i was reluctant to buy this, the reviews are all good, but could not find the manufacturer online, just the Amazon vendor, so that was concerning. i'm guessing it's a relabeled product? i also could not find where the product was made. The company has youtube vids, so some effort has been made, but the company could go a lot farther i think if they were more transparent and less secretive. It's a shower faucet, so installation is pretty permanent, so longevity is a factor for warranty purposes. Having said that, i feel (so far) this is a winner. The finish is, well, perfect. I got the stainless steel, and it is flawless. Fittings are a little different as they are not made for plumbing nipples, so you have to plumb the shower head and hand held precisely, but different isn't bad, just different. The faucet escutcheon is atypical as well- i.e., no screws to hold it on. It slide over the faucet itself and is held in place by rubber grommets built into the openings of the escutcheon plate. Again, different, but actually looks very clean and finished. I put a bead of clear silicon along the top and sides to seal it and it also helps hold it in place. Several have mentioned the issue of reversed hot and cold water (raises hand). I am wondering though if that may simply be interpretation on the part of the manufacturer? i know for a fact that my hot and cold sources are plumbed to the corresponding side. But depending on how you look at, if the bottom of the handle is on the hot side, the water is hot and vice versa. If the top of the handle is pointed towards C (cold) the water is hot. If the manufacturer is Chinese, i would not be surprised because the Chinese language as an example reads from right to left. It may simply be cultural. Overall, you see i have give 5 stars. i love my faucet. It looks and functions beautifully, workmanship is first class. Comes packaged like the Crown Jewels.
