Installation was super easy!The holder is not transparent at all. It’s translucent white.I am not a big fan of the look since my tiles are dark grey.There was nothing to dislike about them they are still holding up and they were easy to install and they are very sturdySo far so good. I use it to hold a rod in place for a banner for my front window.Now my shower rod stays in one place. No more slipping down the walls with these wonderful shower rod holders.I should’ve bought this before damaging my wall with trying to fit an extension shower rod in my bathroom.These are perfect!I love it, easy to install and sturdy.sure easier way to put up a curtain rod
